We are currently seeking a Full time Warehouse Assistant to join our team based out of our Mississauga, Ontario location.

SUMMARY
Reporting to the National Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, processing and creating labels for shipment and ensures that all appropriate packaging slips are sent to the Accounting department. This position requires an individual who can work with minimal supervision, flexible, has strong attention to detail and is a team player.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Pick orders for daily shipping needs, process and create labels for Purolator.
  • Ship daily Office documentation and packages.
  • At end of each day, send all packing slips to Accounting
  • Maintain “live” stock inventory organized
  • As required fill ATM pull sheet and Credit notes
  • Ensure proper documentation is kept on file.
  • Maintain preparation “prep” area clean and organized
  • Participate in Inventory Counts
  • Pick Pack orders as required
  • Cross train in other warehouse positions
  • Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a warehouse or Shipping environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and oral
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a team work environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Cooperative, flexible and adaptable to change
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to exercise great judgment and use critical thinking skills to resolve matters effectively
  • Highly motivated and results oriented, with a bias for action and with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrates high integrity and commitment to quality and service
